- Olaplex - will be adding this into my next service together WITH (combining) with Brazilian Bond B3. I have been using B.B. for 6 months now. I have nothing bad to say about it, except that I have made some mistakes (go to my Mistakes page to learn more) which cost me the health of my hair. No amount of Olaplex can save you from egregious mistakes that you can make on your journey of being a self taught Colorist . And that’s just a cold hard fact.
- Superplex. This is a new bleach by Barex which is suppose to be a “superbleach”. The only superbleach that I know of, and have been using successfully using for 6 months, is Joico Verolight. This bleach is the ONLY bleach that can get me from level 5 to 10 in 1 easy step. No yellow roots to speak of!. But I got suckered by YouTube videos by some vloggers, and this is tauted to be the new new superbleach that already has Olaplex-like product in it. So it’s suppose to “respect hair integrity”. I should receive this baby on January 25.
- Schwarzkopf Keratin Treatment Bonacure - in black jar. This baby is coming to me from eBay and it’s been now over a month of waiting now :(. The black jar has been discontinued, so I’m literally buying out the last of any available stock. The “new and improved formula” is actually much weaker and diluted version of the original: they are packaged in black and pink packaging now. I’m calling the Black Jar the holy grail against Hair breakage. If your hair is breaking this is “IT”, the cure. You apply is for 1-2 hrs under the cap or even overnight once a week for complete hair recovery. This treatment actually heals hair like MEDICINE. it’s not a Conditioner for moisturizing your hair. For moisture I recommend HYDRA by Kaaral (intensive mask that will change your life), and Tigi Ressurrection Conditioner in a bright red bottle.
