FIVE Useful Tips for healthier hair TODAY. Say "No" to scissors!

For those who are especially fond of their hair: I will tell you how to rescue the most damaged hair!

I know that you might be hungry for more posts with stories and advice about "what to do?" so that the quality of your hair becomes better, and its length - greater!.

...And yet, too many of us start taking care of our hair only when it starts breaking, splitting, and becomes dry... That’s fundamentally wrong because your hair needs your loving care all the time, every season, and not just when you suddenly decided to pay it some of your precious attention!.

Therefore this blog was born with secrets and tips for a beautiful mane you can be proud of.

1. Don’t over-wash your hair til it “squeaks”, even if you have oily hair : washing more often won’t save you, if you over-dry your hair by constant washing, instead you will invite dandruff and hair loss. But more importantly it will become oily even sooner!!!

2. If your hair is overly dry, breaks off, or you are forced to wash often: TRY CO WASHING! There are various methods to do this - you can try a cleansing conditioner UNWASH, or just any quality  SLS free Conditioner- yes, your conditioner has the ability to foam up a little on your head and cleanse your hair!

3. Wear a hat, if it’s too hot or too cold!!! Imagine how would you like it if YOU were constantly left to overheat or freeze to death!

4.If you are coloring your hair at home, avoid Box dyes like the devil. You can order pretty much ANYTHING these days using the magic of Internet, so STOP settling for less...your hair deserves THE BEST.
So when it comes to coloring your hair there're two things that can be done: Root Coloring and Length Coloring. Remember they are two different animals. You CANNOT pull your root color through your length without damaging your beautiful healthy lengths. Not even for 5 minutes. How are these two different? For root coloring, you will typically use a PROFESSIONAL color depositing dye + developer (bought separately, buy the same brand as your dye).
Box dyes typically contain very high % peroxide in their developers, and the most ironic thing is they don't even have the decency to TELL you. All the bottle will say on it is "activator"(may as well put "magic potion"). They think that their consumer is so stupid that they don't need to know that they are actually putting a 30% or 40% developer on their poor head and ruining the integrity of their hair forever.
So...For your root touch up, if you have no grays, you will only need 10 volume developer (20 for gray). For your lengths, that have been previously dyed, you should use 5 volume (you can dilute your 10 volume developer 1:2 with any hair conditioner). Now, I only use bleach - not hair dyes - to lighten my hair, so if you're blonde, it's the easiest thing to do for a dark haired beauty. If you are lighter (level 7 or natural blonde) - then, high lift dyes might work for you. For me, they don't provide enough lift unfortunately.

5.And the most beautiful and simple secret: I saved the best for last. Use oils! I’m still discovering many wonderful oils...Behold, my most recent yummy treat for hair: BALI SECRET !!!

Bali Secret is a instagram sensation which is a bottle with 40 candy-like  red capsules... it takes just TWO for my thin feather-like, damaged shoulder length hair! I’m now on my second bottle and it’s very easy to apply... you just break off the end of the capsule by twisting it off and apply with palms of your hands...The result is perfectly coated, non greasy, nice smelling hair that feels protected smooth, tangle-free and nourished with yummy hair vitamins...It doesn't give shine, it gets absorbed rather quickly.
Like a small jewel ;))

My actual hair - damaged, porous, thin, too short for extensions.

Have you found your favorite hair oil yet?. Share below it’s name and why you love it - and I will try  to review it too.
Honestly, I used the word "oil loosely" >> these days, almost all modern “oils” are filled with vitamins, nutrients, herbal essences and of course, silicones! Some people hate silicones but I’m one of those people who welcomes silicones with open arms. My hair just happens to agree with them quite well.
But of course there're people that think silicones are the devil ;) And they devote their whole lives to organic living. I'm not against organic, however I have tried organic and it simply trashed my hair. So...proof is in the pudding.

Doing Olaplex treatment today...Olaplex, revealed

OK so I got Olaplex today, and also ordered L’oreal Pro Fiber serum (since I have yet to find a leave in that doesn’t make my hair dirty). And I know I was supposed to wait til next week to do it as I am doing weekly treatments basically based on which week it is after bleach - but I couldn’t wait!. I DID it, leaving it overnight!. I woke up to wonderfully soft, voluminous Hair!.. I was very pleased 😀    I know I was suppose to leave it for a “minimum of 20 minutes” but left it all night under the cap, here is my hair with no oils or anything at all after: it feels like “real hair” again!.. Not the usual straw wires. Also...Boy, have I got for you some juicy tea...a revolutionary conspiracy theory about Olaplex!!!. What is Olaplex #1 we all know... But what about Olaplex 2? And Olaplex 3? What sourcery is this?. Basically a liquid that we all call “number 2”, could be simply a mix of conditioner PLUS number 1. And as far as number 3 goes - you already  know whe...

Hair Lightening at home with professional bleach powder: HOW TO LIGHTEN YOUR HAIR + PHOTO

Hello everybody, Today I want to share with you my experience of lightening my hair using professional bleaching powder by Barex called Superplex: this powder is a fantastic innovative product from Italy offering a terrific built-in protection for hair shaft - imagine adding Olaplex to your regular powder but without all the hassle - the ingredient is fully disclosed to be a “Polyamino Sugar Condensate”, a blend of sugars and proteins made to prevent breakage. The seller included many free samples of Italian hair products so I’m delighted that I will have a few more products to review in the next few days. The developer I chose was a 50/50 mix of volume 20 and volume 10: so around vol.15 or 4,5% peroxide content. According to instructions printed on the tub, we are to mix 1:2 ratio of white powder to developer, which I followed. How Much Product? For my shoulder length hair I took 2 scoops powder (30 ml scoop x2) and 4 scoops developer. I think longer hair would need double tha...
